Fairtrade - your choice of workwear makes a difference
As a textile manufacturer, one of our most important tasks is to ensure better conditions for the people involved in production, regardless of whether it concerns farmers or workers.
Fairtrade is an international organization working to ensure better wages for vulnerable farmers and workers. Fartraide does also work to ensure that raw materials are produced under proper conditions considering both people and the environment. Kentaur’s Fairtrade certificate documents that our products with the Fairtrade label contain Fairtrade cotton. Fairtrade cotton is treated according to Fairtrade's standards throughout the value chain from cotton cultivation to finished Kentaur product. The certificate must be renewed every three years by the accredited third party FLOCERT.
By changing our procurement, we can create better working and living conditions for farmers and workers around the world. Quality and functional design go hand in hand with the Fairtrade collaboration.
We focus on our suppliers and partners and take our social responsibility seriously. That is why we have been a member of the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) and the UN Global Compact for the past many years. These organizations form the overall framework for cooperation with our suppliers and must ensure that human rights are respected.
